I found an injured bird, what should I do?

We do not accept drop-offs. You can call/visit a vet for advice, we recommend Vetent 03-442 9977 or Remarkable Vets 03-409 2001 If the bird is a native, the vet can contact us to arrange rehabilitation.

I found a chick on the floor, what should I do?

We do not accept drop-offs. The best thing to do if you find a chick on the floor is to leave it, make sure it is protected from any danger (cars, people) and the parent will look after it from there, you can also try to put it back in its nest if you see one. A chick's chances of surviving away from its parents are slim, so this is the best way to help it.

How long does it take to visit the park

Visiting our park takes about 1.5 - 2 hours, including Kiwi Encounters (10am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 4:30pm daily), Conservation Shows (11am and 3pm daily), and a self-guided audio tour of the park (1 hour).

Do you have parking for visitors?

We have no allocated parking for our visitors. This page contains all the information you need to know about parking.

Do you offer discounted admission for Supergold members?

Supergold members are eligible for a discount which is only available at reception.
