What To Expect
We have 5 acres of native bush dedicated to the important conservation work helping New Zealand’s wildlife. We are home to over 20 native species of wildlife all here through managed conservation programs or in rehab due to injury.
On your visit you will learn about our conservation work and efforts throughout New Zealand as you explore and see wildlife in their exhibits. You may see wild birdlife throughout the park as well, like tui, kākāriki, korimako (bellbird), piwakawaka (fantail), kererū, riroriro (grey warbler), and the kārarea (NZ falcon).
With each ticket comes access to our kiwi encounters, conservation shows, and included self-guided audio tours. Each ticket is valid for three consecutive days, and most guests spend an average of 2 hours during their visit.
